Start of the AuSable Canoe Marathon.
The Triple Crown of Canoe Racing was started in 1992 to decide the top Can-Am pro paddler.  The series consists of three races: 

1st race - The General Clinton Canoe Regatta (May - Bainbridge, NY) results
The General Clinton takes place on the Susquehanna River.  It is a one day 70 mile race. 

2nd race - Weyerhaeuser AuSable Canoe Marathon (July - Grayling, MI) results The AuSable Canoe Marathon is a 120 mile race from Grayling to Oscoda on the AuSable River.

3rd race - Le Classique Internationale de Canots (September - Quebec) results
Le Classique Internationale de Canots takes place on the St. Maurice River.  It is a three day, three stage race.
